Pave The Way Pale Ale And Mitchells & Butlers

Our charity message has taken a big leap at the start of 2022.

Whilst January was fairly quiet for us, it’s been a pretty good start to the year especially as this week we started to see our beer appearing on the bars of some of the 100+ Mitchells and Butlers Castle sites throughout the uk.

This is the first time we’ve been able to trade with Mitchells and Butlers and it’s a really great opportunity for us in terms of getting ourselves out there but also because of the choice of beer. We are on their 3 month rotational programme alongside some great brewers and friends such as the guys at Vocation and Two Tribes. The best thing about this opportunity though is the beer they’ve chosen - our Pave The Way pale ale. Brewed in support of our charity partners Only A Pavement Away (OAPA,) Pave The way is a real easy drinking, 4.6% filtered pale ale with a malty sweet backbone and lovely soft tropical hop profile.

OAPA help to bring those people facing homelessness, including vulnerable veterans and ex offenders, back into employment via the hospitality sector and we couldn’t think of a better charity to support and a charity that works within and is backed by an incredible industry in the hospitality sector.

£5 from every keg that we sell will be donated to the charity via Work For Good and It’s great to see the larger pub operators supporting smaller independent brands who have a social cause behind what they do such as ourselves and the guys at Brewgooder who are also on the rotation. They help provide clean drinking water in Africa. Fingers crossed the beer does really well through Mitchells and Butlers and the money we raise will make a significant difference to those less fortunate. Unfortunately we don’t know what pubs will have the beer on when as it’s a rotational programme so can’t guarantee it will be there but keep your eye on our socials and you can find a link below if you fancy popping along to your nearest pub to have a look.
